04:22:21;25 They're in the same order, so they're distantly related,
but there's not much similarity between their lifestyles.
They're probably distant cousins, I guess would be the
easiest way to describe it. Their lifestyles are
completely different. Common Carp are kind of bottom
feeders that feed on detritous and organic matter on the
bottom and vegetation and stuff like that. These feed in
the water column. They're fairly sensitive to bad water,
ah, siltation, whereas the common carp are fairly, fairly
tolerable.

these guys after about three or four months after they
hatch. They grow that fast. So. You know by the time
they're half a year to a year old they're well outside the
size range of anything that can eat them, in the Illinois
